Kathy Sudeikis is an International Travel and Tourism Leader and the matriarch of a great family of world class actors and performers. And for you hip listeners, you will recognize her last name as the one and same as Jason Sudeikis, her son and star of Saturday Night Live (SNL) and now a movie star in his own right. Kathy is a successful travel agent out of the heart of the USA and she is active in the American Society of Travel Agents where she was former president for several years. Adding onto her role as president of American Society of Travel Agents, ASTA, she became one of the leading voices in travel and more specifically in International travel. Kathy is also a survivor or cancer and her story is so beautifully told in one of the PINK ASTA magazines a few years ago.

I am not positive where I met Kathy, most likely in the middle east as I know we both did much work there and we again met in Africa. We worked in China one time and of course across the US Kathy has added her wisdom to many panels that I have covered through out the years. I consider Kathy to be a close friend. Who else but good friends would bump into each other in an elevator and ride a few floors to the final destination, swap personal loss stories, take time to have a good cry together, hug and finally promise to catch up again soon. The last times I saw Kathy was Vegas as we found a little bar with a TV at the Palazzo and watched her son, Jason Sudeikis on the Ellen Show! We had the bartender as excited we were as we scoured the bar for the TV remote control and exact channel. But we got there!  Take a listen and get ready to be inspired.
