Undoubtedly, one of the most beautiful areas in the world
Imagine living in the most stunning surroundings and couple that with managing a 5 star resort that offers the best in accommodations and dining. That is exactly what Jean-Marc does in the Seychelles. A remarkable leader that is not afraid to roll up his sleeves and work with his team in all aspects of creating an excellent experience for the guest.

As a journalist, Sandy was working with many cameras in the streets as Carnaval became reality. During a long day of camera work and interviews in the streets of Victoria, Sandy could not help but notice that Jean-Marc personally handed out water to each of the journalist. They all agreed that they had never been treated by a GM with so much compassion, everyday it was like being handed gold. Thank you Mr. Michel!

Welcome to TravelTalkRADIO

When I heard that my nieces husband, Steve had decided to go to Vietnam where he was being tasked to bring a school to complete accreditation, I was impressed. I was also anxious to hear how the family would adjust and how they would keep in touch. As a retired high school principal who had kept spent most of his travels enjoying resorts and cruises, it was obvious that Vietnam would be a life changing experience. Susan joins me in the 2nd segment to talk about her husbands work and her first trip to see him this past month.

Sandy thanks the Seychelles Tourism Board, Ethiopian Airlines and the Kempinski for their valued support. This week on TravelTalkRADIO we continue our coverage of Tour Guides and Tour Managers and the Institute that creates opportunities for every age with every background.

The Republic of Seychelles comprises 115 islands occupying a land area of 455 km² and an Exclusive Economic Zone of 1.4 km² in the western Indian Ocean. It represents an archipelago of legendary beauty that extends from between 4 and 10 degrees south of the equator and which lies between 480km and 1,600km from the east coast of Africa. Of these 115 islands, 41 constitute the oldest mid-oceanic granite islands on earth while a further 74 form the low-lying coral atolls and reef islands of the Outer Islands.
The granitic islands of the Seychelles archipelago cluster around the main island of Mahé, home to the international airport and the capital, Victoria, and its satellites Praslin and La Digue. Together, these Inner Islands form the cultural and economic hub of the nation and contain the majority of Seychelles’ tourism facilities as well as its most stunning beaches.
Thanks for joining us! Buckle your seatbelt for another informative program!

Carnaval de Victoria Seychelles

Sandy and Thomas were part of an International journalist delegation to the Seychelles covering Carnaval last week. Take a listen as they have some fun talking about this Garden of Eden in the Indian Ocean. A well kept secret to many North Americans, Seychelles is worthy of the far reaching trip off the east shores of Africa. A paradise where every  photograph looks like a calendar picture and where every photographer knows they have captured something special.
Thomas and Sandy have traveled to many countries together covering meetings and events throughout the years but they agree, the Seychelles Carnaval celebration was a party at its best. Many news agencies who participated, predict this will someday be one of the world's most important Carnaval. Start making plans for next year April of 2014 for the 4th Edition of Seychelles Carnaval!
