Shut up and drive

United States Congresswoman, Betsy Markey (D-Colo)

April is National Distracted Driving Awareness Month
in the United States.

We’ll introduce you to the lady who was responsible for spearheading the adoption of this resolution in the US Congress. We’ll learn about some really good reasons why every driver should take the “no phone zone”’ pledge including the fact that 85% of automobile accidents involve distracted drivers. Pay attention! http://www.traveltalkmedia.com/archives_apr18_10.html#1007

  1. 80% percent of all rear end collisions (the most frequent vehicle accident) are caused by driver inattention, following too closely, external distraction (talking on cell phones, shaving, applying makeup, fiddling with the radio or CD player, texting, etc.) and poor judgment. I doubt if we'll ever stop the madness so I got one of these - sparebumper.com - to reduce whiplash and protect my family.
