Creating the Largest Human Floating Image at the Lowest Spot on Earth

We have been delighted to work with Mona Naffa and her team at Monaco Business Development in Amman Jordan. Here are the results of a dedicated group who brought to life an image on the beautiful Dead Sea Jordan and on the way, they broke a previous record made by surfers in the Pacific Ocean off Southern California . 

Oct 31, 2014 -- Dead Sea Jordan – Monaco Business Development announced today that Destination Dead Sea Jordan broke the world record of the largest floating human image in the world on Thursday October 30^th 2014. The event was witnessed by a Guinness World Record Representative. 

In total, 261 employees, staff and management collaborated to create the human peace sign. For the first time, teams from the Crowne Plaza Dead Sea Resort and Spa; Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea; Marriott Hotel Jordan Valley Resort and Spa; Movenpick Resort and Spa Dead Sea; Kempenski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea; Winter Valley Warwick Resort and Spa; Dead Sea Spa Hotel; Hilton Dead Sea Resort and Spa, and the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center worked together to break the Guinness World Record.   The employees, a mix of Jordanians and Expats, wore matching colored shirts and locked hands to form a Human Peace Sign.  The winning signal was announced a 11:16AM Jordan time.

The Dead Sea Jordan, the lowest spot on earth, is recognized worldwide for the Bapstism Site of Jesus Christ,  award-winning wellness and medical spas, International hotel brands, a state-of-the art Convention Center, and the source of the Dead Sea cosmetic therapeutic muds and salts. 

The Guinness World Record was organized by Monaco Business Devlopement, a marketing company based in Jordan promoting products, services, and concepts to local and international markets and Ziyad Mazzawi Corporation, a production company based in Amman, Jordan.  The Guinness World Record-the Largest Floating Human Image was supported by the Jordan Tourism Board and US media partner TravelTalkMEDIA.

Dead Sea, Jordan Attempts to Break the Guinness World Record with the Largest Floating Image (A PEACE SIGN) at the Lowest Spot on Earth

Amman Jordan – Monaco Business Development announced today that the Dead Sea in Jordan will be the destination to attempting to break the Guinness World Record of the largest floating image on Thursday October 30^th, 2014 at 10am.

Employees and management from the Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort and Spa, Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea, Jordan Valley Marriott Dead Sea and Spa, ,Movenpick Resort and Spa Dead Sea,  Hotel, Kempinski, Hotel Ishtar, WinterValley, Warwick Resort and Spa,  Dead Sea Spa Hotel, Hilton Dead Sea Resort and Spa, and the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center  will join forces and come together to attempt to break  the world record the largest floating image along the shorelines of the Dead Sea Jordan.   The employees who are a mix of both expats and Jordanians will be wearing the same colors of while floating to form the largest floating image. 

The Dead Sea Jordan is lowest point on the face of the earth, 412 meters below sea level. Known worldwide as one of the world’s most beautiful places with dramatic and breathtaking landscape and terrain. The Dead Sea Jordan is flanked by mountains to the east and the rolling hills of Jerusalem to the west.  The area is believed to have been home to five Biblical cities: Sodom, Gomorrah, Adman, Zebouin and Zoar (Bela).

An official Guinness world record representative will be present the morning of October 30^th to witness and document the world record breaking event for Jordan. The public is invited to the Dead Sea shoreline to witness the largest floating image and the attempt to break the world record.

Modern Jordan was founded by King Abdullah I after World War I.  It was then ruled by his grandson the late King Hussein for 46 years until his death in 1999.  King Abdullah II assumed the throne in 1999 and the country has grown to a peaceful and stable nation.
