Don't Trip on Your Attitude - Another gem for travelers and travel industry staff to remember

Another gem for airport staff to keep in mind while serving passengers with compassion and care. As passengers these are words that should be in our arsenal of survival tactics.

Expectation indicates the juncture between where you are and where you want to be. Where you want to be is your desire, and where you are is your Set-point or habit of thought. And, somewhere in there, is what we would call expectation. Expectation, whether it is wanted or unwanted, is a powerful point of attraction. Your expectation is always what you believe. But the word expectation does imply more what you are wanting than what you are not wanting. It is a more positive word than it is a negative word. But of course, you could expect negatively—and whatever you expect, you will get!

The Gift of the Dead Sea in Jordan

Turning corner on United Experience and by the way, thank you Delta for getting me home. Now... let's go to Jordan.. We will begin our journey now to produce visibility for the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan where The Dead Sea Mud Festival Jordan was originated (last year). The minerals include the muds and salts of the Dead Sea which are processed by a company called Odalisque where I had the most unique tour with our production team. I never imagined I would be on a boat on the Dead Sea in the saltiest section of the sea where the giant cutters take the salt from the sea and pump it into the main plants where it is then cleaned and packaged. Fascinating and obviously a wonderfully nature way to take care of your skin. More coming through our stories in the next couple of months.

Well being and a healthy lifestyle is what I strive for most. I wanted to share an inspiring message.

Safe Travels and perhaps I will see some of you in London this coming week.
.......Sandy
"Most people have a hard time delegating, or even wanting to delegate, because you have been justifying your existence through your hard work, and you equate success with struggle; you equate results with struggle. And so, you sort of wear your struggle like a badge of honor. And all of that is opposite of allowing the Well-being. The only thing that ever matters in success or achievement is your achieving the things that you want to achieve. So if you are setting standards and you're feeling uncomfortable about the standards that you've set, tweak the standards back a little bit. Ratchet it back a notch. Give yourself a break. Give yourself the benefit of the doubt. Lighten up. Be easier. Go slower. Take it easy. Have more fun. Love yourself more. Laugh more. Appreciate more. All is well. You can't get it wrong. You never get it done."

Rolling Stones at the Dan Tel Aviv

I have stayed at the Dan Tel Aviv Hotel and would highly recommend this affordable yet luxurious hotel for your next trip to Israel.

On Monday evening legendary rock bend, The Rolling Stones arrived with their entourage to the Dan Tel Aviv Hotel for a three night stay. The General Manager, Mr. Etai Eliaz, welcomed the band members -Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood on their arrival, before they were smuggled through the employee's elevators to their rooms.

The musicians stayed in luxury suites, enjoying many amenities and requests they had made prior to arriving, which included state-of-the-art stereo systems; external insulation to prevent noise and sun light; organic food and use of humidifiers to ensure an even temperature at all times.

After providing fans with an outstanding concert on Wednesday night, with Mick Jagger delighting the crowds with several sentences in Hebrew, the band members left on Thursday to fly to the Netherlands where they will continue their world tour.

The hotel General Manager, Mr. Etai Eliaz, personaly saw off each band member, and wished them a good journey. Mick Jagger thanked him for the wonderful hospitality they enjoyed at the Dan Tel Aviv, saying how good the concert was despite the heat.

The band members Mick Jagger and Keith Richards signed the hotel's guest book. (Please see below)

Royal Jordanian to fly to New York six times a week this summer

Amman, June 1, 2014- Royal Jordan will introduce an additional two weekly flights to New York during June and July this summer, bringing the number of scheduled flights operating on this vital route to six weekly.

The two extra flights to JFK will be run via Montreal every Monday and Thursday. Royal Jordanian has been operating direct scheduled flights to Montreal, Canada, since 2007.
The most recent step is taken to serve the growing number of passengers flying on the Amman-New York route during the peak summer season.
RJ’s direct four weekly flights to JFK will rise to five weekly in August. Royal Jordanian operates frequent direct flights between Amman and North America using its wide-bodied A330 and A340 aircraft, including daily flights to Chicago and two weekly flights to Detroit, in addition to the flights to New York and Montreal mentioned above.
The two additional frequencies via Montreal will reach JFK Airport at 10:40 am, giving ample time to passengers wishing to connect to other cities in the US.

RJ was the first Arab carrier to start operations between the Middle East and New York, in 1977.
